Eugene "Gene" Harmon, BHS 1946Eugene "Gene" Harmon, 73, died Aug. 28, 2001, in San Diego.
Mr. Harmon was born July 20, 1928, in Los Angeles. He was a lifetime resident of Burbank and a 1946 graduate of Burbank High School. He was a lieutenant in the Korean conflict. In civilian life, Mr. Harmon was an investment banker. He was the founder, head coach and president of the Burbank Vikings Youth Tackle Football program.
Survivors include daughters, Sheryl Goldberg, Susan Barry and Kimberly Becica; son Kirk Harmon; mother Edithrea Harmon; former wife Shirley Harmon; and six grandchildren.Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Faith Chapel, Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills.
