Patsy J. (Mead) Redditt passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, with her adoring husband holding her hand.
Patsy was born to the late Roy and Lora Mead on April 15, 1935, in Duncan, OK. The Mead family moved to Burbank, CA, in 1939. Pat graduated from Burbank High School in 1951. She lived throughout Southern California. Having been married and divorced, she met the love of her life, Gene Redditt, in 1985. They were married in 1992, and just celebrated their 25th anniversary.
Patsy was an aerospace electrician. She worked on many projects and aircrafts including the B-1, B-2 and the SR71. She retired in 1997. Patsy and Gene moved to Sutherlin, Oregon, to be close to their grandkids in 2004.
During her retirement, Patsy enjoyed spending her time with Gene. You could always find them together. They were members of a local camper club enjoying monthly RV trips and a classic car club with their 48 Plymouth. They traveled to the East Coast several times to visit family. Patsy loved meeting people and learning their stories. She volunteered for local nonprofit events in Sutherlin.
Patsy leaves behind her best friend and husband, Gene Redditt; she passes on her compassionate hardworking, giving attitude to her children, Jon Campbell (Carrie), Carolyn Kucera (Steve), Christian Epps (Mark), Tim Redditt (Andria), Cindy Embry (Ted); grandchildren, Brant Campbell (Emily), Amanda Campbell, Shelby Campbell, Tyson Redditt and Aiden Redditt; brother, Bobbie Mead; her sister, Carolyn Marciano, will miss their daily phone calls; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will remember a strong lady that impacted their lives and kept the family together.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Guy Mead.
The family held a Celebration of Patsy's Life on Friday, May 19, 2017.
