It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that I report the passing of my father, Ronnie Garner. Ronnie passed away last night July 16, 2019 in Henderson, Nevada after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Ronnie had a distinguished law enforcement career spanning over 30 years across three agencies culminating as Chief of Police for Arcadia PD, from where he retired in 1999. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to his cherished wife, Paula, for over 50 years. He leaves an indelible legacy of admiration and respect with those who both knew and loved him, and will be deeply missed.
Ronnie will be missed by so many besides his loving family. He was always a "ray of sunshine" with a wonderful sense of humor.
