Graveside services for Diana Carol Winkler were held May 19, at McBride Cemetery, Competition, Missouri, with Father John Brath officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Palmer-Pickering Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass was held May 7, in Arcadia, California.
Diana Carol, daughter of Joseph and Monica Braun Palmer, was born April 4, 1949 in Los Angeles County, California and died May 3, 1985 in Los Angeles County, California. She and her family moved to the Competition, Missouri area in 1982 where she lived until March of 1984, returning to California.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley of Ventura; a daughter, Sheila Jessup of the home; her mother, Monica Palmer, Temple City, California; her father of the state of Arizona; and a brother, Donald, Yorba Linda, California. Diana enjoyed the out-of-doors, especially the hills and forests of the Competition area, where she made her home.

NOTE: Diana Palmer Jessup was a 1967 graduate of Burbank High School, Burbank, California. She married Martin R. Jessup on October 21, 1967, four months after she graduated from high school. They divorced on December 9, 1980 in Los Angeles County, California. Next to Diana's senior picture it says the following: Art Library Asst. and looks forward to 4 years of college.
