John F. Nare, BHS 1944John F. Nare died August 24, 2004, in Burbank. He was 78. He was born August 13, 1925in Burbank, and was a lifelong resident.
He served as battalion chief in the Burbank Fire Department, retiring in 1980 after 31 years of service. He also served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Thomas, John, Ted and Tim; brother, Phil Nare; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Monday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service, 333 E. Magnolia Blvd. Services and interment will be private.
