Mary Hess Baker, BHS 1923?
Died on June 25, 2010. She was 104 years old and had lived in Burbank and Glendale since 1920. She was born in South Dakota on December 19, 1905. Mary attended Burbank High School and met her neighbor, Harry Baker, whom she married in 1925. They had three children, Barbara (deceased), Jacqueline, and Robert.
In 1933 they became part of the First Presbyterian Church of Burbank where Mary served as church secretary for 15 years and as clerk of Session for 17 years. Harry died in 1966.
Survivors include children, Jacqueline and (Robert) Petersen, Robert and (Nancy) Baker; son-in-law Regnal Hall; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
