Shirley Wetmore -Waller Ball was called home on February 24, 2022. She was born in Burbank, California on October 7th, 1931 to Dorothy and Horace Day.
Shirley grew up in southern California and graduated from Burbank High School in 1949. She worked for Nordskog for 38 years and retired in 1987. After retirement, she enjoyed being a camp host at Lake Tahoe. She was a long-time member and very active with Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, loved camping, and was an active member of the American Cancer Support Society.
She is survived by Charles, her daughter, Donna and step-children Rick, Scott, Kimberly, Mike and Marty. She is also survived by her four granddaughters, along with each of their spouses and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her memorial service will be at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hemet on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Lutheran Church. Shirley’s love for life and her bright smile will be greatly missed.
