Stephen Reed Whatcott, 37, of Lawrenceville died Wednesday. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Sints in Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bill Head Funeral Home in Duluth. Burial will be at Logan City Cemetery in Logan, Utah.
Dr. Whatcott, a native of Glendale, California, was a dentist with an office in Lithonia. He was a graduate of Emory University and Brigham Young University.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Smith Whatcott of Lawrenceville; two sons, Bradley Whatcott and Chad Whatcott, both of Lawrenceville; one daughter, Jamie Whatcott of Lawrenceville; his parents, Ross and Bonnie Whatcott of Burbank, California; four brothers, Craig Whatcott of Glendora, California, Lee Whatcott of Mission Viejo, California, Lin Whatcott of Kent, Washington, and Kerry Whatcott of West Jordan, Utah; and two sisters, Laura Ridge of Palmdale, California, and LeRae Dean of Dallas.
