Vivian Gure-Cearley passed away in December 2008 according to her daughter, Linda Cearley-Vawter of Oxnard, California. Vivian and her husband also had a second daughter, Debbie Cearley Norman and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vivian was an accomplished hair stylist for 35 years, and will be missed by her family and many friends. No other details at this time.

On March 26, 2015, David A. MacCaughtry Jr passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 65 years of age.
David was born in Burbank, California on April 6, 1949 to Faith and David MacCaughtry. He attended Burbank schools and graduated from Burbank High School in 1967, and went on to Valley College.
David took a job at AT&T in 1968 and spent the next 30 years working for the company. Later, he became a consultant and Pole Climbing Instructor for ASAP company.
David played on several Burbank Softball League teams over the years. He collected antique rifles and was an active member of the Burbank Muzzle Loaders. David enjoyed camping in their motorhome with his family and friends and visited several places around the country. David loved telling stories and jokes. He loved people and everyone he met became a friend to him.
David is survived by his wife, Betty Jo of 47 years; his sister, Joan Baker; daughter, Dana MacCaughtry; son Tony MacCaughtry (Rachel); four grand children, Kyle, A.J., Colton and Cayden; and many more family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, 1075 E. Daily Drive., Camarillo, CA on Saturday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. For more information please contact Griffin Family Funeral Chapels at at (805) 482-1166.

Patricia Constance Swartz quietly passed away on April 13, 2009. She is preceeded in death by her loving husband, Melvin Roy, of 60 years. She is survived by her son Bruce, daughter-in-law Linda, and son Michael. The family wishes to acknowledge her life long friend, Virginia Ricks, and caring neighbors Barbara and David Kramig, Loraine and George Khair, Joaine Bailey-Woods, and Bill Wallace.

Private Memorial services will be held Monday for Louise M. Santoyo Evans. Born May 21, 1921 in Grants, New Mexico, she died January 17, 2009, in Harbor City. Louise retired as division manager of communications for Pan America Airlines in Los Angeles where she worked for 33 years. She had a wonderful life, she was such a happy positive person who was loved by so many and will truly be missed. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson F. Evans and is survived by two brothers, Albert (Bob) Santoyo and Richard Santoyo; and by two sisters, Ann Santoyo and Angela Lara; and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. Marilyn was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 11, 1925. Her parents were Hugo Freed and Hannah Silver. Marilyn graduated from Burbank High School, Burbank, California in W’43 where she went to school with Robert Eugene Browning. They were married on September 7, 1946. She had 2 children, Beth and Robert David Browning. Marilyn died March 16, 2015. Her husband Robert Eugene Browning, daughter, Beth Kremer, and son Robert David Browning survive her. She had 6 grandchildren.
Marilyn worked for the City of Burbank for 8 years. After her children grew-up she was very active as a volunteer at Saint Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Burbank, California, for many years. Marilyn loved to travel and went to many exotic places like Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, the British Isles, and Switzerland.
Marilyn and her husband had recently moved to Claremont, California to live closer to family.
