Marjorie Helen Rohwer, BHS 1948
In loving memory of Marjorie Helen Rohwer
Marjorie was loving and kind, with a heart of gold. We were blessed to have had our time with her, to love her and to be loved by her.
She was born Marjorie Helen Voyles on Oct. 28, 1930. She married Donald Oscar Rohwer on Nov. 5, 1948. She graduated from Burbank High School Class of 1948; and she retired from J.C. Penney at Sun Valley Mall, Concord, Calif., after 26 years. She passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Marjorie was pre-deceased by granddaughter Michelle Soder.
She is survived by her loving family: husband, Donald; daughters, Billie and her husband Reiner Welzel of Fontana, Jeri and her husband Brian Cleveland of Edmonds, Wash.; grandchildren, Donald and his wife Miranda Hofstee of Descanso, Lindsey and Andrew Cleveland; and great-grandsons, Ikaika and Kaelon Hofstee.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, in the Multi-Purpose Room at Leisure Village, 200 Leisure Village Drive, Camarillo, CA 93012. If you plan to attend, please contact the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Marjorie's name.
