Alvan Irving Beck died July 5, 2005 at 73. He is survived by his wife, Blanca; sons, Daniel and Luis Marcilla, Dennis and Brent; daughter, Rosi Marcilla; five grandchildren; brother, Larry. Groman
Note: According to Alvan's son Brent his father was a Korean War vet. Alvan also played football at Burbank High where he was the quarterback and captain of the Bee team. Alvan's best friend in high school was Frank Larry Imera, BHS 1951.
