James Edmund Mooney II, BHS 1954
James Edmund Mooney II, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to his good Lord and Savior on October 5th, 2013. He was a resident of Bakersfield, was 78 years old and a graduate of Burbank High School, class of 1954.
He was a US Army veteran, serving as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne- Screaming Eagles and was a master wood worker and carver.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria Martinez, his son Chris Martinez, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Ella, 11, and Nicholas, 9, of Orlando. FL. He was a good man that cared more about others than himself, always giving to those that needed. He will forever be missed. He was a kind soul and brought happiness to all he met.
