Grace Williams Smith Stephens, 86, died February 25, 1989 in Duarte, California. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she had been a resident of Burbank for 48 years. She had been a teacher with Burbank High School from 1946 to 1966, member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burbank and the Presbyterian Woman's Club.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by her sons, Roderic of Valencia, California and John Stephens of Burbank; two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church of Burbank. Private burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
Note: She retired from teaching at Burbank High School at the end of the 1966 school year.
