1957 - 2020
Diane Marie (Nordby) Kelley, an Internal Designer Project Manager of Vancouver, Washington, died unexpectedly on September 9, 2020 at the age of 63 surrounded by family.
Diane was born in Glendale, CA on June 21, 1957 to Janet and Jerome Nordby and grew up in Burbank, CA. She was active in the music program while attending Burbank High School. She was a member in the marching band, marching in the Rose Parade and touring Europe with the band.
She received her AA Degree from Pierce College in Woodland Hill, CA and continued her education at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
Diane moved to Oregon and began a long and rewarding career doing what she loved. Her most recent position was with Parametrix as a Project Manager building a new state-of-the-art elementary school.
Diane's biggest love was her son Shawn. They were best friends in travel, cooking, the love of food and searching out the best restaurants. She is also survived by her mother, Janet Nordby, of Adams, ND, her sister Debbie Harrington (Thom) of Camarillo, CA, her sister Karen Heffta (Guy) of Adams, ND, and her nieces and nephews.
Diane lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by many.
