HEAD-ON CRASH KILLS BURBANK MOTORCYCLIST
A 22-year-old Burbank man was killed Tuesday after his motorcycle went out of control and smashed into an oncoming car. Clifford P. Cook of 1438 N. Broadway, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in the 6300 block of Forest Lawn Drive in the Griffith Park area.
Officers said Cook was apparently traveling too fast on a turn when his motorcycle went out of control and smashed into an oncoming auto. The accident occurred at 4:20 p.m.
The death was the 17th this year in Valley area traffic accidents. NOTE: Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, California. Find A Grave Memorial
