At her request, no services will be held for Pamela Jo McKiney, 61, of Coquille. Pamela Jo was born on October 24, 1946 in Altadena, California, to Bill and Vivien (Froyd) Pyner. She died May 1, 2008, in Coos Bay.
She grew up and was educated in Southern California. She married David McKiney on March 1, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. They moved to Coquille in 1978. Pamela worked for the Coquille School District for many years, as well as at Umpqua Bank and most recently at Chery Creek Floral in Myrtle Point. She was an avid cook and loved gardening.
Pamela is survived by her husband, David of Coquille; son, Kevin and his wife, Kelly McKiney of St. Louis, Mo.; stepson, Geoffrey McKiney of Los Angeles; twin sister, Paige Ann Pyner of Coquille; and eight cats. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pam and her twin, Paige lived next door to me in Burbank for many years. I loved them both. They were like sisters to me.
