Sandy was born on July 19, 1944 to John Robert Reeser and Annie Martha Brenneise in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from Burbank High School in 1962, she went on to study graphology (handwriting analysis).
After graduation, she landed her first job as a bookkeeper for California Kitchens.
In 1964, she wed Dennis Hassenpflug, going on to have one child, Steven Hassenpflug.
Sandy spent her time reading books, enjoying California wineries, taking weekend trips, and cooking for friends & family.
Sandy was predeceased by her sisters Barbara (Bobbie) Anne Reeser Sutton, and Marjorie Reeser Ballenger. She is survived by her life partner Philip Klossner of North Hollywood; son Steven (Wendy) Hassenpflug of Santa Clarita, CA; her brother John Reeser of Littleton, CO; her sister Carole Reeser of Burbank, CA.
A celebration of life is planned for Friday, 1/19/24 from 12:00-3:00pm in Toluca Lake at her favorite Italian restaurant. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
