Marilyn Ruth Freed Browning, BHS 1943

Marilyn Ruth Freed Browning, BHS 1943 July 11, 1925 - March 16, 2015 Marilyn was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 11, 1925. Her parents were Hugo Freed and Hannah Silver. Marilyn graduated from Burbank High School, Burbank, California in W’43 where she went to school with Robert Eugene Browning. They were married on September 7, 1946. She had 2 children, Beth and Robert David Browning. Marilyn died March 16, 2015. Her husband Robert Eugene Browning, daughter, Beth Kremer, and son Robert David Browning survive her. She had 6 grandchildren. Marilyn worked for the City of Burbank for 8 years. After her children grew-up she was very active as a volunteer at Saint Joseph Hospital in Burbank, California. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Burbank, California, for many years. Marilyn loved to travel and went to many exotic places like Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, the British Isles, and Switzerland. Marilyn and her husband had recently moved to Claremont, California to live closer to family.
