Catherine (Kay) Stimolo, passed away at age 97 in Burbank, California. She was born and raised in Burbank, attended John Burroughs when it wasa junior high, and graduated with the Burbank High class of 1942.
Her grandparents were one of the first Italian families to settle in Burbank. She had a brother Sammy who was killed in WWII, and a sister Georgia who passed away years ago. She worked at Lockheed during WWII. She was married 71 years to Wes Adams, who passed away May 20, 2019 at age 99.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy (JBHS 69), her son, Sam *JBHS 72), one granddaughter, and two great grandkids. She lived in Burbank her entire life. She loved attending the BHS lunches and witnessed all the changes in Burbank for 97 years.
