David Charles Greene
Our dear husband, father, and friend, passed away Thursday, June 25, 1992 while on a scout outing with his son and friends.
David was born in Burbank, California, August 25, 1952. He was the son of Harold and Mary Greene.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Neilson Greene; his son, Logan; and daughters, Chelsa, Shanna, and Courtney; also his mother, Mary Woolf Greene ofSt. George, Utah; brother, Robert (Elaine) Greene of Villa Park, California; sisters, Nancy (Willard) Walch of Bountiful, Utah and Margaret (William) Agnew of Arvada, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold F. Greene.
Dave and Lori were married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on February 8, 1975.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving a mission in Venezuela from 1971 to 1973, and in various Church responsibilities including Elder's Quorum President and scouting positions. David was a friend of scouting and will be remembered for the contribution he has made in the lives of many young men.
His profession was in the Insurance Industry, most recently as Sales Vice President for the Employee Benefits Division of CIGNA Corp.
Dave was a loving husband and father who greatly enjoyed the personal time he spent with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life.
We'll all miss you ''Big Wave Dave.''
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sandy Crescent Stake Center, 10945 South 1700 East. Friends may call Monday 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East and Tuesday at the Stake Center 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
