George Nielson Cordon, 78, died April 18, 2003. He was born May 18, 1924, in Burbank and was a longtime resident of the city. Mr. Cordon was a graduate of Burbank High School in 1943 and a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Cordon is survived by his wife, Ruth. The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 136 N. Sunset Canyon. Interment follows at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, California.
