Robert Grueter, BHS Teacher
Robert "Bob" Grueter, 75, Bradenton, died Aug. 29, 1999.
He was born May 31, 1924, in Harvey, Ill., and came to Manatee County 12 years ago from Burbank, California. He was a mathematics teacher and a football and baseball coach at Burbank High School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a sailor and a licensed pilot.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda; a daughter, Pam Dito of San Mateo, Calif.; two sons, Corby of Winter Haven and Barry D. of Orange County, Calif.; a sister, Barbara Stutzriem of Park Forest, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no services. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel, is in charge.
