WILLIAM G. DINSMOOR Brigham City, Utah.
William George Dinsmoor, 84, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at his home in Brigham City, Utah of natural causes. He was born on August 4, 1923 in Burbank, California, a son of Louis M. Dinsmoor and Katherine Grand Dinsmoor. His father passed away and Katherine married Joe Parizek who raised William as his son.
William graduated from Burbank High School and went to electronic school in Hollywood, Calif. He joined the US Army Air Corp and went to school for signal training in Fort Gordon in New Jersey. He served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre, and was at Pearl Harbor on December 7.
He married Raeola Hyde on April 4, 1949 in Baldwin Park, Calif. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. William worked and retired from California Pacific Utility Company as a manager for the telephone center. William enjoyed electronics, gardening and farming.
Surviving are his wife of Brigham City; five children, Bruce, Jeanette, Kathryn, Camille and Joseph Dinsmoor; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Dinsmoor. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Utah Veterans Memorial Chapel, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
