Francis Engle Allen died Jan. 18, 2005. He was 98.
Mr. Allen was born June 18, 1906 and lived in Burbank for 90 years.
Allen is survived by his daughter, Norma Pienzi; grandchildren Brad Olsen and Pamela Nigh; great grandchildren Tawny and Cheryl Olsen, Christi, Jennifer and Kevin Nigh.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, 700 N. Glenoaks Ave.
Interment is private. Memorial contributions can be made to City of Hope, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, CA., 91010 or the American Diabetes Assn., 3460 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 900, Los Angeles, CA., 90010.
