Steven Paul Alkire, BHS 1972

Steven Paul Alkire was born January 9, 1954 in Riverside, California and passed away November 23, 2003 in Los Angeles, California following a two year battle with liver cancer.

Steve attended elementary schools in Glendale and was a 1972 graduate of Burbank High School. He was employed 30 years in the cable industry. He is also survived by sisters, Mary Hogan of Portland, Oregon; Susan Fighera of La Crescenta, California; Sandra Pelletier of Hood River, Orgon; Sharon Trecker of Greenville, California; Shirley Strazdins of Lee Vining, California; brother Scott Alkire of Barnard, Missouri; brother-in-law Lynn Fairbanks of Glendale, California; mother and father-in-law Jim and Norma Boyle of Yucca Valley, California; and long-time friend Donna Gibbons of Burbank, California.

He was predeceased by his brother Robert Alkire; his sister Charlene Drown; and his parents Raymond and Mary Alkire. Numerous nieces and nephews will never forget Uncle Steve.

Services were held November 29, 2003 in Yucca Valley. Interment will be at a later date at San Fernanso Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, California.
