MISHAP KILLS FORMER BURBANKER

Robert Nelson Alexander, a Burbank High School graduate who had been making his home in Pasadena, died Wednesday as a result of a motorcycle accident.

The mishap occurred just one day after a classmate at Burbank High, Robert Romanisky, was killed in a traffic accident. The two had been cheerleaders together and had both graduated in 1966. "He was a popular kid," a family spokesman said. "He was always on the go with friends around him and around the house."

Mr. Alexander was born in Burbank and had resided here until moving to Pasadena about a year ago. He was working as an apprentice operations officer at Security Pacfic National Bank in Pasadena.

He graduated from Muir Junior High and Burbank High and had studied at Valley College, San Fernando Valley State College, Chapman College's World Campus Afloat, Pasadena City College and Woodbury College. At the time of his death he was taking financial courses at Pasadena City College.

He is survived by his father, Theodore of 1841 N. Niagara; his mother, Mrs. Courtney Shreve of Seattle; one brother, Ted of Burbank; two sisters, Mrs. Stephanie Stephens of Los Alto and Meredith of Burbank.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10: 30 a.m. at the Eckerman-Heisman funeral Service Chapel, 333 E. Magnolia. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hill. Dr. Frederick Schilling of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Glendale will officiate.
