James Thomas Woods died Dec. 2, 2004.
Woods graduated from Burbank High School and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was the former finance director for the city of Burbank. He was active in the California Society of Municipal FinanceOfficers and the Government Finance Officers Assn. Woods also received a gubernatorial appointment to the state of California Government Efficiency Team.
Woods was preceded in death by his son, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; daughter; son- in-law; daughter-in-law; seven grandchildren; brother; sister-in- law; four nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside. Donations can be made in Woods' memory to Home Health and Hospice in Murrieta.
