Linda Joan Golden Nicol, BHS 1959

Linda Joan Nicol entered into life on July 30, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, and entered into rest on November 16, 2007, in Burbank, California.

Linda lived in Burbank, California area from 1950 to the present. Linda graduated from Burbank High School in 1959 with honors. Linda worked as a Bookkeeper for firms such as Community Chevrolet, Westinghouse Elevators, and Best Locking Systems, all located in the Burbank, California area.


Linda marrried Robert W. Nicol on December 23, 1961 in Burbank, California. Linda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was devoted to her church, and her love of Christ. She loved being with her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed, but her love for life, her laughter, and her gentle demeanor will never be forgotten.

Before her death, she said she was ready "to go with the Angels". We know that she is in heaven, dancing with Jesus and the Angels right now.


Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Nicol, son, Douglas Nicol, daughter, Sandra Lieffers, mother, Flora Golden, sister, Judith Durcan, sister, Frances Jean Hardin, and grandchildren Delaney Nicol, Kyle Nicol, Benjamin Lieffers, Gretchen Lieffers, Cort Lieffers, and Coralie Lieffers.

Linda suffered from disabling Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with complications. Donations can be made in Linda's name to: Lupus Foundation of Northern California, 2635 N. First St., San Jose, CA. 95134. Arrangements under the direction of Pierce Brothers Valhalla in North Hollywood, CA.
