Donald M. Lovelee, 72, died Tuesday of heart disease at Ramona Manor Convalescent Center in Hemet. Services and inurnment will be private. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Lovelee, who was born in New York City, lived in California for 50 years, including 26 in Hemet. He owned a printing business in Burbank for 10 years, taught at Burbank High School for four years and taught graphic arts at Mt. San Jacinto College for 18 years. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Hemet. He enjoyed piano tuning. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eleanor.

  1. On January 30, 2018, I found Donald Lovelee's Piano Tuning business card inside the upright Wurlitzer piano at San Jacinto Elementary School. The card was stuck between the hammers of middle C, D, and E keys which made an extra sound to those notes. I am the current Music teacher at SJE.
