Richard Oliver Carner, 54, died April 18, 2004, in Westwood.
He was born August 23, 1949, in Los Angeles, and was a longtime Burbank resident.
He joined the Army in 1973 and served in Korea as a military policeman. He worked for the Burbank Unified School District
He is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Louis, Charlie and Travis; father, Oliver; brother, Carl; and sister, Joan Jones.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today at Calvary Bible Church, 1101 S. Main St.
