MRS. ULLOM'S FATHER TAKEN BY DEATH

Charles Carrigan, retired high school teacher and father of Mrs. Chester Ullom of 162 Sunset place, died yesterday at his home, 22 E. Alhambra road, Alhambra. At the time of his retirement he was a member of Mark Keppel High school faculty in Alhambra and had been a teacher there for 17 years. Mr. Carrigan was a former president of the Southern California Teachers association.

Surviving Mr. Carrigan are his widow, Mrs. Jennie B. Carrigan; five daughters, Mrs. Ullom of Monrovia, Mrs. Rodney Morin of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Dean Brackenbury of Monterey Park, Mrs. Albert Gloeckeer of Alhambra and Fern Carrigan, a WAVE stationed at Santa Ana.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Turner, Stevens and Turner, Alhambra.

Charles Carrigan, 22 East Alhambra Road, Alhambra, passed away at his home, May 25, 1945. A native of Buffalo Lake, Minn., and a resident of Alhambra for 19 years. Survived by his widow,Mrs. Jennie B. Carrigan; five daughters,  five daughters, Mrs. Ullom of Monrovia, Mrs. Rodney Morin of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Dean Brackenbury of Monterey Park, Mrs. Albert Gloeckeer of Alhambra and Fern Carrigan, U.S. N.; two sisters, Mrs. William Fallon, Buffalo Lake, and Mrs. EllaMichaelson of Devils Lake, N.D.; four brothers, William and Holly Carrigan of Buffalo Lake; John Carrigan of Stewart, Minn., and Michael Carrigan of Wirt, Minn.,; also three grandchildren.

Funeral services, Monday at 10:30 a.m., at the Little Stone Church of Turner, Stevens and Turner, 550 East Main Street, Alhambra, Rev. C.H. M. Sutherland and Rev. Jesse Ullom officiating.
