Kenneth Harold Stubbs, BHS 1966/1967

Kenneth Stubbs should of graduated from Burbank High in 1966. His senior photo is there, but he must of been sick or did not have all the credits to graduate and so he ended up graduating with me and his sister Brenda Stubbs in 1967 where he has his senior picture there also. He is also listed in our 1967 commencement program. Kenneth was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran.

Kenneth Harold Stubbs of Browns Mills died on March 24, 2013. Aged 65 years.

Beloved husband for 25 years of Evelynda 'Belle' (nee Ferrer) Stubbs. Devoted father of Kevin Stubbs and Steven Stubbs. Dear brother of Mark Wright, Brian Wright, Michael Wright, Brenda Stubbs and Janice Bailon.

Relatives and friends may attend the viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, April 1 at the North Chapel, Falcon Courts North, 3827 School House Road, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ 08641. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. *All attending MUST bring identification to enter the base. 

Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Celebration Church, 19 Canna St., Browns Mills, NJ 08015.

Jill Dee Turner, age 69, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on her birthday, July 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and most importantly, devout Christ-follower. She was born on July 23, 1952 to Al and Jackie Thompson in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jill met her husband, John, on New Year's Eve 1967. She grew up in Burbank, California and graduated Burbank High School in 1970. Jill went on to earn a degree in Interior Design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Jill worked as a business owner and homemaker for over forty-eight years.

She enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and traveling with her husband, John. Perhaps most importantly, she was one of the privileged few to pass away on her birthday. In the ancient Old Testament tradition, this signifies a person who has fulfilled God's complete and perfect mission, and is considered a special gift and blessing.

Jill is survived by her husband, John E. Turner of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her children, Katie (fiancé, Matthew Akromis) Turner, and Travis (Kelly) Turner; and her grandchildren, Stella, Clara, and Cade.

Private Graveside Service will be held at, 9:00AM, Friday, July 30, 2021.

Paul Bruce Augustadt, 36, a truck driver, died December 1, 1982, in an accident near Barstow, California.

Mr. Augustadt, of 6435 S. 41st Avenue, was born in Harvey, North Dakota, and moved to Phoenix in 1979. He was employed by Western Auto as a machinist until August 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Jacklyn; son, Gerald; mother, Winona Nadeau; father, Paul; a sister and a brother. 

Private services will be at Bobbit Funeral Home, San Bernardino, California.

It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of a longtime friend, Roger Laurence Haidle on August 4, 2021 in his Burbank home while under hospice care. He was 77 years old.

Roger was born on March 12, 1944 in Los Angeles County, California. He graduated from Burbank High School with the class of 1962. He took drafting in high school. After high school he joined the United States Navy where he became an electrician repairing equipment aboard ship in Vietnam. Roger was very proud of his navy service. 

Roger married his high school sweetheart, Gail Vicky Nelson on August 17, 1963. To this union a son, Robert Haidle was born. Roger was a longtime Burbank City employee electrician. 

Roger is survived by his wife, Vicky and son Robert Haidle and his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Katherine Roedel Haidle of Burbank.

Rites Near for Bridegroom Dead in Crash

Roscoe Resident Dies of Collision Hurts on Day Set for Nuptial

Roscoe, August 16 - Last rites were to be held at Burbank today for Robert A. Williams, 27, who died Saturday, on the day he was to have been married.

Williams succumbed to injuries received in a traffic accident 10 miles south of Little Lake, near Lone Pine. He was riding in the sleeping compartment of a large truck when the vehicle collided with an auto, it was reported.

Williams was to have been married to Inez U. Nelson of 10608 Crockett Street, Roscoe. Williams resided at 7551 San Fernando Road, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Williams. He is also survived by a sister, Mildred, of Roscoe, and a brother, John, Jr., of Chicago. Both Williams and Miss Nelson were graduates of the Burbank High School.

Funeral services were set for 2:30 p.m. in the Fillbach Chapel, Burbank, followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Diane Sharon Landisi, 78, passed away at her home in Glendale, California, on February 26, 2021. Diane was born December 6, 1942 to Luigi Louis and Emily Melitta Sabatini in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. At age thirteen, her family moved to Burbank, California. After graduating high school, she worked as a secretary in the international division at Crocker National Bank.

On October 25, 1976, Diane married Anthony Gerard Landisi. They were married nearly 46 years. Diane was a secretary for over two decades at Glendale Community College. She was proud of her work and always went above and beyond. She was efficient, organized and reliable.

Diane loved languages, culture, movies and books. She valued education. No doubt this is what inspired both of her children, Tracey Renee and Brian Anthony, to learn and teach Spanish, enjoy traveling and pursue advanced degrees.

Diane was a powerful force and loved her family fiercely. She loved conversation, and treasured her close friends. Diane is survived by her husband, son and daughter, son-in-law, Kenneth Raymond Jones, and five grandchildren; Elena Diane, Anthony Kenneth, Leo Gerard, Dominic Brian and Monica Renee Jones.
