Toni grew up in Burbank, California and was a 1973 graduate of Burbank High School, Burbank California.

She married Derick Parker and lived in Florida at the time of her passing. They had one son. Sadly, Toni died of a heart attack, only 26 days after her husband on June 15, 2019 in Florida.

Hi Linda, I’m a 1974 graduate from BHS. Googling I recently found another graduate, Dave Cerbin, class of 1973 that had passed away Dec 2023. No one shared his information. I just found it like I said, googling him, he was a friend. I don’t know if you want to post this information or not he had just attended class of 1973  50 year class reunion earlier that year. He was on the football team and had a lot of friends at BHS so I know people would want to know about his passing.  I couldn’t find an obituary for him. They just had a memorial service.

William Edwin Wood (Bill) passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife Mary Jane in Sarasota on Tuesday January 14, 2025 after courageously battling a long illness. Bill was a beloved husband, father, brother and unbelievable friend. He will be remembered as an iconic personality who had the capacity to captivate you from your very first introduction.

Bill was born on April 7, 1955 in Burbank California. He was a standout high school basketball player which propelled him to go to the University of California at Santa Barbara. There he met some of his lifelong friends who remained part of his life until his passing. Bill’s career began as an executive at Long’s Drug Store in Oxnard California. There he was recruited by his college roommate to move to Sarasota Florida and manage the newly opened Magic Moment Restaurant and Blueberry Hill nightclub. During nearly 20 years in the hospitality industry, he opened restaurants in Tampa, Florida all the way to London, England. Bill ended his career as a well-respected real estate professional in southwest Florida.

Bill is survived by his beautiful wife Mary Jane, sister Mary, and three wonderful sons, Mark, Jacob and Joshua all of which he was extremely proud of.

There will be a memorial service to remember Bill on Saturday February 1st, 2025 held at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 40 N Orange Avenue. Following the service, there will be a celebration for Bill from Noon to 3:00 p.m. at The Crescent Club, 6519 Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key.

David Read French 68, passed away June 21, 2023. David was born November 28, 1954 to Milton and Frances French at St. Joseph hospital in Burbank, California. He is survived by half sister Amy Blocker of Chino Valley, Arizona, step sister, Regina French Mattingly of White Oak, Texas. Several uncles and aunts, and many nieces and nephews.

David was born and raised in Burbank, California and started playing guitar at a very young age. He was a member of the track team at John Muir Junior High and Burbank High School where he won awards in track. He worked at “Small Veterinary Hospital” when he was in high school and had a passion for cats. He graduated from Burbank High School class of 1973. He went to college at Pearce Junior College and the University of Davis, California. He traveled the United States for many years and worked as a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his father Milton Read French; mother Frances French McCoy; stepmother Marilyn Fern.

Manslaughter Charge Due

LAKEPORT – Felony manslaughter, drunken driving and hit and run charges were to be filed today with the Lake County district attorney’s office against a Fremont man who was allegedly responsible for the Wednesday death of a Konocti school teacher.

The charges were to be filed by the California Highway Patrol against David Ned McCann, 58, a retired contractor. McCann reportedly was driving his pickup on Highway 53 in Clearlake Highlands while under the influence of alcohol when he struck and killed Donna Hamilton, 26, Clearlake Park. She was riding her bicycle home from school.

The accident was near the site of a September 15 collision also involving McCann, who reportedly drove into the back of a Konocti school bus. Eight children were injured in the accident.

According to highway patrol reports, McCann had been weaving within his lane and onto to the shoulder of the road prior to the September accident. He apparently failed to see the stopped school bus waiting to turn and hit the bus “without attempting to slow or stop, “the report says. 

McCann was cited for drunken driving by the highway patrol. McCann was booked into the Lake County jail after the Wednesday accident.

LOWER LAKE – A memorial service has been held for Donna Lynn Hamilton, 26, of Clearlake Park, who died last week after being struck by a pickup truck.

A native of Glendale, she lived in Lake County two years. She was a fifth grade teacher in Konocti Unified School District.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton, Burbank. Services were at the Methodist Church in Santa Rosa, with cremation following. Jones and Lewis Mortuary in Lower Lake was in charge of local arrangements.

LAKESIDE, CA -  A Lakesie man was killed Wednesday evening after he lost control of his truck on El Monte Road in Lakeside. Craig Leslie Crawford, 29, was discovered about 10 p.m. by the CHP officier, pinned underneath his 1979 pickup. He died five hours later at El Cajon Hospital.

It’s with a very sad heavy heart that I have to inform you all of the passing of another of our classmates.

John Bruce Iversen passed away Saturday night June 11, 2022 at Dodger stadium. He was there with his son Tim watching his favorite band The Grateful Dead. It appears he had some type of heart event. (More details when I confirm) 

We can take comfort knowing John was enjoying and wonderful evening with his son. Our thoughts and prayers to Tim, and the rest of his family. 

This is very difficult to process for all of us especially our group of guys that have being getting together and staying in contact now for a number of years. John was one of the main links in our chain. Most of us have known john for 60 plus years. 

John’s infectious laugh and radiant smile will be sorely missed. 

We take comfort knowing John is at peace and up there at some great concerts. (he definitely was a concert and music lover) 

John and I had a special connection. We shared the same birthday (February 6,1955) and he had my name as his middle. Pretty crazy stuff 

Rest well my brother from another mother. Until we meet again. Rock on!

JOHN IVERSEN OBITUARY

John Bruce Iversen, 67, of Huntington Beach, passed while doing what he loved, enjoying live music, at a Dead and Company concert with his son on June 11, 2022 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

He was born on February 6,1955, to Hubert W "Pop" and Arnette Casey "Mor-Mor" Iversen in Burbank, California. He graduated from Burbank High School where he met his group of lifelong friends before heading up to Northern California where he attended Dominican University before transferring to Chico State where he graduated in 1979, majoring in Industrial Arts.

John spent most of his career as a carpenter and general contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area but his real focus was always on being a great Dad to his two boys, Tim and Kyle.

Anyone who met John, knew him to be an extremely caring and generous person who was always looking for a good time. He was well known for his infectious smile and laughter; he had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. John was an avid Bay Area sports fan and loved supporting the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors, especially in front of his Southern California friends.

John is survived by his sons, Tim (Karina) of Woodland Hills, California, Kyle (Maria) of Lake Worth, Florida; and his siblings, Judd, Jeff and Guy, niece, Jenny, nephew, Brad as well as many other younger family members of whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and his beloved sister, Sally Vickers.

A celebration of life will be held on July 23rd (tentatively) near Burbank, Ca. Further announcements regarding details for the event will be made via social media.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in John's name to the Chill organization in Los Angeles which helps underprivileged youth learn how to skate, surf and ski/snowboard which were all great passions of John.

Our dearest Joyce lost her fight today, February 19, 2022 after a long and difficult battle.This is a text from Rick Mathewson, a true friend who cared for her throughout these difficult years. 

"It is with great sorrow that I’m informing you that Joyce Rudolph Walker lost her battle with cancer at 3:04 PM today, February 19, 2022. I’ve never seen anyone fight as hard as she did for over 3 1/2 years with this terrible desease.  She has been such an inspiration to me. I know she loved you all. I have no info on services at this time."

Celebrating the life of our classmate Steve Dalrymple. I had found this death record on Ancestry.com but wasn't absolutely certain it was our Steve. I just spoke to his brother in Omaha, NE and he confirmed. Steve died from lung cancer.

Steve was born on August 6, 1955 and passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2005.
Stephen was a resident of Roseville, California.

John Richard Bellomo was born October 31, 1954 at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Hollywood, California. John, his big sister Catherine, and their parents Tom and Joanne Bellomo, settled in Burbank where John attended St Robert Bellarmine grad school and graduated from Burbank High School in 1973. 

John joined the Armed Forces following high school and served the U.S. Army in the United States and Germany as a Mechanical Engineer. Upon his return to Los Angeles, John began his thirty-five-year career in the automotive industry at what is now know as Century West BMW in North Hollywood and in later years, commuted from Lake Los Angeles to the Beverly Hills BMW dealership where he was employed for many years. In 2013, John joined the Century West BMW team in Alhambra where he continued working as a loyal and valued employee until the end of April 2018. 

John and Kathryn, formerly Kathryn Grace Louis, originally from Minnesota, were married on June 16, 1986 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Burbank. Later the same year, the newlyweds relocated to Lake Los Angeles where the family currently resides. Their marriage produced three beautiful children. In 2005, John's mother, Joanne, preceded him in death and he stayed close to his father, Tom, during this time of bereavement. John was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

A lifelong Dodger baseball fan, John played little league baseball in his early years with his father Tom, the "coach", his sister, the "official" scorekeeper and his mother, Joanne, John's biggest fan, in the stands. He also loved NASCAR and enjoyed watching the races both in person and on his devices. John had an endearing and sensitive heart that drew family and friends to him throughout his lifetime. He was a kind and gentle soul and had a special affection for domestic animals - many animals! Over the years, visitor would likely be greeted by the family of pets who shared the Bellomo home including cats, dogs and "Lovey" the dove.

On Monday evening, July 30, 2018, John entered into rest peacefully, as his home surrounded by his family. John is survived by his devoted wife, Kathryn Grace, children, Chelsea Nicole, Lindsay Michelle, and Michael John, three grandsons, Martin, Timothy Maximus "Max" and Adam, father Tom, sister Catherine, nephew Nicolas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, loving friends, neighbors and colleagues.

San Diego An SDSU alumnus and lifelong Delta Chi fraternity member. He worked in the mortgage lending field, but was best known as Coach and one of the "founding fathers" of the Carmel Mountain Ranch Little League. 

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Janel, sons Dallas (Nicole), and Brett, grandson Cash, mother Carole, sister Coleen (Roy), niece Fiona, brother-in-law Patrick (Sandy), and many friends. It comes with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our Father Brian Michael Hallagan. He was an amazingly loving Father to his 2 sons Dallas and Brett, and Husband to his wife of 28 years Janel. We are in shock to say the least. Our Dad loved sports, anything Dodgers, Lakers, Dallas Cowboys, UCLA and Kansas Jayhawks brought a smile to his face. Our Dad most enjoyed watching sports and movies with his wife Janel, coaching his sons in various sports, and playing softball with some of his closest friends.

Richard Gerald "Jerry" Gillespie, BHS 1973

"My BHS Class of 1973 classmate Richard Gerald "Jerry" Gillespie passed away in 2012. He was a quiet, mild mannered guy who I first met at the summer activities held at George Washington Elementary School in the cabin on the playground in about 5th or 6th grade. Jerry was a manager on the cross country and track and field teams. RIP Jerry!"

Note: Jerry was born on June 4, 1954 and passed away on March 30, 2012 and is buried in Los Angeles County Crematorium Cemetery in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles County, California. No other details at this time.

Deborah Ann Loccia Addison, BHS 1973

Deborah Ann Loccia-Addison, 62, passed away on December 9, 2017 in Palm Desert after battling an assortment of health issues, including cancer and congenital heart failure. 

A loving mother, wife, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Kevin, her two sons, John and Brian, her daughter Deanna, and her two grandchildren, Wyatt and Evan. 

A memorial service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in La Quinta on January 19; the rosary will be at 9:30 AM followed by services at 10 AM.

Deborah Ann Loccia Addison was always a force to be reckoned with: fiercely intelligent, defiantly independent, inspirationally (and frustratingly) challenging, Debbie had an effect on everyone who met her. Despite the length of time that had passed or the briefness of the relationships she held with hundreds, she maintained a connection with every person she loved and cared for. From the old high school friends of her children to her own high school friends… From the coworkers of her husband to the caregivers of her neighbors… From God to her grandchildren, Debbie assured her world of friends and family that they were never forgotten, lost, or not loved.

With the loss of Debbie’s mother and father, Natalino and Mary Loccia, she battled with what many folks battle with when losing loved ones: depression, a sense of loss, and a debilitating loss of health. 

At the age of 62, shortly after battling everything from heart issues to breast cancer, Debbie was taken into God’s care so she could offer her services to those in heaven.

Her husband, Kevin, was her rock—and through her many struggles, maintained her comfort and sense of identity while her body slowly debilitated, all the while supporting her emotionally, financially, and physically.

During this time, we are doing our best to assure that her arrangements as she descends into the afterlife are what she deserves. Given the financial constraints being undertaken by her husband and family—this includes everything from cremation services and funeral plans to flowers and travel arrangements for her immediate family—we are depending on those who knew and loved her best to contribute what they can. Any and all donations, handled by her sons and husband, are not only appreciated but essential in assuring that her passing is done with respect and love.

Ted Gregory Olson, BHS 1973

Ted Olson, age 59 of Seneca, Illinois, passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 at Morris Hospital.

Born March 26, 1955 in Glendale, California, Ted is a son of Betty Olson of Seneca and the late Leroy Olson. He was raised and educated in Burbank, California and worked as a Machinist. 

Ted loved cars, especially working on muscle cars and was a fan of drag racing. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his mother Betty of Seneca and seven brothers and sisters, including Kathie Jackson of Seneca, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ted was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be private, and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Morris, Illinois.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you of another of classmates passing. Long time friend and 1973 classmate Scott Bradley English passed away December 3, 2017 in Burlington, Washington. 

He had some health issues the last few years and passed away in his sleep. Scott was a great friend and enjoyed hanging out with many friends while in Burbank.

He had moved to Washington State in the mid 70's and as often happens, with our busy lives, we lose contact with each other. I know he is at peace now.

Ferdinand "Fred" Fumo, a Burbank resident since 1954, passed away from complications of emphysema and COPD.
He graduated from Burbank High School in 1973.

Fred is survived by his sisters Rita Derby of Camarillo, California and Paula Homan of Burbank. He is preceded in death by his parents Sue and Henry Fumo and sister, Sandy Frydrychowski.

Memorial services will be held at the end of the month in Camarillo, California.

MCCULLY, JUDD -- Judd McCully, 50, died Dec. 13, 2004 in Napa, California. He was born March 27, 1954, in Burbank, California.

Mr. McCully was owner and president of Complete Marketing Company for more than 11 years.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Keene, Claire and Sydney, all of Napa; his parents E.J. and Marian McCully and his brother, Mark McCully and his wife Chris, of Honolulu, Hawaii.

Memorial services will be held Dec. 31, at 5 p.m., at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1917 Third St., Napa.

Attila L. Juhasz passed away April 12, 2014 in Loma Linda at the VA hospital after a serious illness.
  He was born in Toronto, Canada on Feb. 28,1955 but he grew up in Burbank. He lived in Beaumont since 1997. He was a great man, a loving husband and father, and also a Vietnam veteran. He battled his illness in the last 14 years and he mostly was a stay-at-home dad.
  He was very much involved in his children’s education and in their school life and activities. He had a great heart and he always tried to help out the less fortunate. 
 He will be greatly missed by his wife, Eszter, of 16 years; his three children AJ, Attila and Elizabeth; his mother, Catherine; and his brother Csaba.

He will have full military honors during gravesite services on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.

Bryan Lee Wilkinson III, who was known all of his life as Pete, passed into eternal life on October 1, 2016, in Mojave, California. He was 62 years old. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 11AM, at the Burbank First United Methodist Church in Burbank, California. Pastor Sam B. Kim will officiate.

Pete was born on February 10, 1954 in Santa Monica, California, to Bryan Lee and Ruth Helen (Foster) Wilkinson. Pete enjoyed education an held an associate's degree in accounting, but he was best known for his accomplishments as a musician. He began playing guitar at age 12, and for the past 50 years played professionally, working with many notable rock bands. In addition to being an unmatched guitarist with a following of numerous fans, Pete was also a talented singer.Pete was a kind and spiritual soul, who naturally attracted admirers from around the world, both for his music as well as for his friendliness.

He possessed the great gift of talk, making new friends everywhere he went. If a wall could have talked, he would have certainly held a conversation with it!Though Pete was loved by all who knew him, he often said that the best days of his life were meeting and falling in love with his future wife, Nancy. When he saw Nancy on the day they were married, his response was simply, "Wow!" From that day forth, Pete and Nancy went on to share a bond that lasted a lifetime.

Pete's interests were numerous and varied. In addition to a lifelong love of music, he enjoyed reading, art, photography, and astronomy. He possessed a fondness for silly, bad movies as well - everything from campy 1950s sci-fi to offbeat comedies. Pete also loved to travel, with Arizona being a favorite destination.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Nancy Ann Wilkinson of Mojave, California; his sister, Krenn Scott of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his numerous pet birds, whom he considered his children. He is also survived by cousins, numerous nieces, great nieces, and great nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Lee Wilkinson Jr., and his mother, Ruth Helen Wilkinson, both of Burbank, California. Before moving with Nancy to Mojave in 2010, Pete was a resident of Burbank for 56 years.
