He is survived by his parents Louis and Gayle Michel; sons Casey and Trevor Michel; sister Shelley Marthaller and brother-in-law Sean; nephew Jacob and niece Destiny Marthaller.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Valley Funeral Home Chapel, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd, Burbank. Interment will follow at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd., North Hollywood.

Ojai - Tamara Iwerks, age 54, died Friday May 14, 2021 in a hiking accident on the Rogue River Trail, Oregon. Tamara is survived by her immediate family, her parents, Don and Betty Iwerks, of Ojai, California, her husband, Daniel Webster; her sister Leslie Iwerks, brothers Larry and John Iwerks; sister-in-law Chris Chapman; aunt Barbara Miller of Carlsbad, CA. and her beloved dog Milo.

Tamara was born on September 25, 1966 at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Panorama City, California. She attended Horace Mann Elementary School, John Muir Junior High, and Burbank High School. She received her B.A. in Journalism at Cal State University Northridge, followed by a successful career as an on-camera reporter and anchor at Channel 2 News in Casper, Wyoming, WJBK TV2 in Detroit, Michigan, WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida and Channel 11 in Los Angeles, California. She won a News & Documentary Emmy Award for her impactful reporting on climate change.

For the last twenty years she has been the Director of Media Relations at PremiereTV, a broadcast media publicity company, overseeing satellite media tours, press junkets, radio media tours and more. Tamara lived in Ojai, California and Red Lodge, Montana with her husband Daniel. She enjoyed being near and spending precious time with her parents and family in Ojai and her wide coterie of friends from Burbank and Red Lodge. Tam was an avid hiker, wine enthusiast and curiously intrigued with Bigfoot and Mermaids! She had a fun, mischievous sense of humor and a heart of gold - she was arguably Neil Young's #1 music fan, having traveled the world to attend his countless concerts over the last thirty years. Tam lived and loved her life to the fullest. She wanted all stray animals to have loving homes, our pristine wilderness to be protected, and the LA Dodgers to always win. She left this earth doing what she loved: hiking in nature, surrounded by her beloved husband and dear friends. We will miss her terribly and will carry her love, memories and her lifelong gifts to us in our hearts forever.

Eric Jon de Leuw (1966 - 2018)

April 26, 1966 - October 18, 2018. Surrounded by his family and friends, Eric peacefully joined his parents Ray and Judy de Leuw; Bud and Laurie Baker in heaven. Eric was raised in Burbank and graduated from Burbank High School in 1984. Eric's first love was spending time with his family. He loved playing and coaching baseball and softball. He volunteered countless hours at Park View and West Lancaster Little Leagues over the past twenty years. 

Eric is survived by his wife Senta and first wife Tammy; children Ryan, Dylan, Kayley, Cassidy, Jack, Austin and Jonee. Also survived by his in-laws Debbie, Chad, and Windy Hamilton. Also survived by his nieces and nephews Kayla, Curtis, Robert, Angie, and Erik. 

Saturday November 10, 2018, 2 pm, there will be a "Celebration of Life" for Eric, beginning at Park View Little League 733 West Ave J-4, Lancaster. We will have a balloon release in honor of Eric.
The family asks that everyone attends in Dodger blue or Dodger attire. A gathering will follow at Tammy de Leuw's home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made the family at the "de Leuw Go Fund Me Page"

Our beloved Amber Marie White, born Pontiac, MI on November 13, 1966, ascended to a higher plain peacefully on October 16, 2016, at her home in Burbank, CA.

Born to Gale Moore and Joseph Stimac. Amber graduated from Burbank High in 1984 and married Rick White on May 4, 1991. Amber was a hairdresser at Joseph Lamar Hair Salon for over 20 years. Her cherished son, Nicholas, was born on November 24, 1993. She was also devoted to her beloved son, Shaun, who passed on June 27, 2011.

Amber is survived by her family, Gale Moore, David Stalrit, Nancy Rushing, Kathleen McLean, Nancy Stimac, and Jean Himebaugh. Her husband's family, Richard and Nancy, and Ronald, Susan, Ashley and Derek Casella. Amber's beautiful life and spirit will be celebrated at the First United Methodist Church of Burbank, 700 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank, CA on Sunday, October 30, 2016, 2:30pm.

Dennis Kent Hooper, 45, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away from an auto accident. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Quest Aircraft Co., 1200 Turbine Drive, in Sandpoint.

Dennis was born Jan. 29, 1966, in Burbank, Calif., the son of Dennis and Sally Hooper. He was raised and educated in Burbank, graduating from Burbank High School in 1984. While in school he excelled in football. Upon graduation, Dennis took part in an apprenticeship training program to be an operating engineer. Upon completion of his program, Dennis became a member of the Local 501 Operating Engineers.

Dennis married Lisa Haley in Burbank in 1992 and, in 2004, they moved to Sandpoint to enjoy the quality of life. He worked for Quest Aircraft for more than four years. He enjoyed motorcycles, and raced them as a young man in California. After moving to Sandpoint, Dennis was active as a coach in Sandpoint Junior Tackle Football and as a Little League Coach.

Dennis took great pride in his family and his home. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, skiing, camping, boating, wake boarding, golf, and especially enjoyed dancing.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of Sandpoint; three children, Cole and Quinn of Sandpoint, and Tara of Appomattox, Va.; his parents, Dennis and Sally Hooper of Indio, Calif.; a brother, Michael (Denise) Hooper of Burbank; a sister, Diane (Tarin) Cardenaz of Burbank; and by his mother-in-law, Cleo Haley of Sandpoint. He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
