Ronald John Dandy, BHS 1968
Ronald John Dandy, 58, Topeka, Kansas died Saturday, February 13, 2010, at his home. He was born October 14, 1951, in Sacramento, California, the son of Wm. B. and Mildred A. (Reber) Dandy.
He received a BS in Mathematics from University of Redlands and was a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries. Ron worked for 26 years at Security Benefit.
He was an Elder at Rolling Hills Christian Church. He was an Eagle Scout; had been a Boy Scout Scoutmaster; and had Wood Badge training. Ron had volunteered with the Girl Scouts and 4-H.
He was married to Linda L. Chapman on June 16, 1973, at Redondo Beach, California. She survives.
Also surviving are 3 children: Jonathan Dandy of Independence, Missouri, Mary Kathryn Argeropoulos of Paola, and Veronica Dockery of Gentry, Arkansas; his mother: Mildred Dandy of Ventura, California; a brother: Bruce Dandy of Oxnard, California; a sister: Cynthia Bali of Bradenton, Florida; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM, Tues., Feb. 16, 2010, at Rolling Hills Christian Church.
Private interment of cremains will be in Prairie Home Cemetery.
