PLAN RITES FOR FORMER AREA MAN

Funeral services for Chester J. Hubbard, former Burbank resident and manager of Badger Pass Ski area at Yosemite National Park, will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. Mr. Hubbard, 36, died Wednesday at UCLA Medical Center, the victim of leukemia.

He is survived by his wife , Annette, his mother, Mrs. Louise Hubbard of Burbank and a sister, Mrs. Connie Corsini of Northridge.

Mr. Hubbard, who was born in Hollywood, graduated from Burbank High School in 1949 and later attended Los Angeles City College. At Burbank High he participated in many sports, including riflery which he helped initiate at the school. He was the 1948 winner of the Southern California Rifle Championships and later as a ski instructor at Far West Ski Association convention.

Mr. Hubbard was a ski instructor, manager of Camp Curry summer activities, assistant director of a ski school and manager of the Badger Pass at Yosemite.
